WEEK 4 |
COMING UP ON TRANSPLANTING |
After week 4, alot of the seedlings are ready to be transplanted. They are already begining to grow into the light fixture. Because there are smaller seedlings still in the tray, the bigger ones need to be moved in order to lower the light for the smaller seedlings. |

Although most of the seedings are doing fine, there are a few that haven't been doing so well. You can see in the pictures that the leaves are very small and pale, and to the left, have even dried up. I'm keeping them in the pods to see if they come around, but I think this is natures way of seperating the weak from the strong. When it comes time to transplant these varities, these are among the ones that will be seperated out. |

The Bhut Jolokia's are doing great, and all 9 of the sprouted this year! I'm trying my best to make sure that all of them make it to the garden in the spring |

As I stated on the previous page, I was doing something different with the Thai Sun's and the Mini Bell Peppers. I decided to put my Green Thumb to the test against Technology, and bought the Aerogrow Areogarden. I planted 2 Thai Sun's and 2 Mini Bells, to see how they compare to my methods. I am hoping that for the money I spent, it out performs my way by 1000%, but we'll have to wait and see. I will be sure to keep everyone updated on them. |
